The new building is made out of wood, straw insulation and clay and it combines a kindergarten and a senior day care. In the structural design and the detailed timber construction planning, ZRS engineers was able to tap the potential of the know-how gained in many years of planning experience in sustainable construction. The good cooperation of all parties involved in the planning and the use of the 3D timber construction planning software Cadwork enabled a smooth planning and construction process down to the last detail. This benefits not only the carpentry shop in cooperation with Abbundzentrum Halberstadt, but above all the DRK as the building owner.
