New construction of an evangelist/free church with community centre including a central hall with rammed earth walls
The heart of this church and community centre in Karlsruhe is defined by the 7,2 m high rammed earth walls of its central hall. Karlsruhe is located in an earthquake zone and therefore the walls required reinforcement with geo-mesh and two reinforced concrete ring beams in order to reach the required strength.
