ZU/FLUCHT | Cooperative exhibition | 12.06 to 31.10.2021
ZU/FLUCHT is an open-air exhibition and cultural venue on the way to the Exilmuseum, which is to be built at Anhalter Bahnhof in the next few years. The exhibition of the Exilmuseum Berlin Foundation was created in collaboration with the Institute of Architecture of the TU Berlin and the TEK. Over the course of two semesters, students of the Natural Building Lab dealt with the analysis of material, use and redesign possibilities of former containers for refugees, designed and planned the exhibition ZU/FLUCHT and then built it themselves. In it, the Habitat Uni presents its research on the lives of refugees in housing containers. Further exhibition content on the topic of “Exile Today” resulted from a cooperation with the “We Refugees Archive” Minor Projektkontor for Education and Research.
