Study by Lichtblick: Planned heating targets are not enough for climate-neutral building stock by 2045
As part of the study for Lichtblick, ZRS Architekten analysed the climate impact of the accounting rules applied in the GEG using the example of various new and renovated single-family and multi-family houses. The result: With the current legal situation, a climate-neutral building stock cannot be achieved by 2045. Even a stipulation that new heating systems should be operated with 65 percent renewables will not achieve the goal of a climate-neutral building stock by 2045.
