The pre-fabricated timber facade elements for the refurbishment of the central administration building of the Tierpark-Berlin GmbH arrived on site this week. Within 4 weeks the entire DDR building from the late 60s will be enclosed in a new building shell thus raising its energetic performance. In the interior areas the fire-protection and building services will be improved with a series of low-tech measures.
