Publication: CRADLE Book “Hybrid Timber Building”

The first volume of the new “CRADLE Book” series was recently published on the topic of timber hybrid construction. One of the 50 buildings presented is Flexim Headquarters, a timber-concrete skeleton construction with a suspended timber frame façade and a low-tech concept in Berlin-Marzahn, designed by ZRS Architekten Ingenieure. In addition to the project presentations, the book also includes introductory essays, such as one on the topic of fire protection. Further volumes are planned on topics including natural building materials, redevelopment, and urban greening. The book is released in German and in English.
