In the fourth episode of the podcast “Discussions with Science and Politics” (“Wissenschaft und Politik im Gespräch”), science journalist Julia Vismann talks to Eike Roswag-Klinge and Elisabeth Kaiser (SPD), Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministery for Housing, Urban Development and Building, about sustainable construction, particularly in the housing sector. They discuss how the building sector can achieve its climate goals, whether the German government’s goal of building 400,000 new homes per year is at all feasible and sustainable and what role Living Labs play in the sustainable transformation of the construction sector.
