‘A World without concrete’ | Eike Roswag-Klinge in Interview
A world without concrete is hard to imagine today but building with concrete is not a sustainable solution for the future. In the series ‘Eine Welt ohne…’ (A world without…) from ARD the team investigates what our world would look like out without certain resources and in the 5th episode they look into the building material concrete. The question is how we can build without this material, or at least reduce it, which causes large amounts of CO2 emissions and uses up extensive amount of resources. As one of the leading experts on timber construction and sustainable building technologies and Eike Roswag-Klinge was interview for the episode and they show case the new workshop building at Konrad-Zuse-Schule as a prime example of a sustainable building.
