ZRS Architekten Ingenieure on BAU 2025

Resource efficiency was one of the key topics of BAU 2025 trade fair. Andrea Klinge spoke about the research project upMIN 100 at the BDA panel: Bauwende Forschung Praxis. The project investigates whether and to what extent mineral construction and demolition waste from the fine fraction, which is mostly deposited, can be used as raw material in earth building materials. The research project involves organizations such as ZRS and the Natural Building Lab at the Technical University of Berlin.

Eike Roswag-Klinge spoke on another key topic of the fair, “Resilient, climate-appropriate construction.” In his lecture “Building within planetary boundaries,” he advocated against demolition and in favor of space-efficient repurposing.
