Start of construction | Fire Station Karlshorst

We are pleased to announce the start of construction work at the Karlshorst fire station! As part of the energy-efficient refurbishment of the listed building, the dismantling and removal of contaminated building materials will begin first. Currently, the grid field ceilings in particular are being dismantled. While the contaminated elements are disposed of, the newer ceiling elements and lights are stored and reused after the new interior insulation and building services installations have been installed. In the next step, the partition walls in the former climbing tower will be dismantled in order to extend the sanitary areas.
