PUBLICATION: BUILDING AND LIVING IN THE CYCLE OF NATURE – SOCIAL HOUSING AND KINDERGARTEN AT ELLENER HOF, BREMEN
The new issue of DBZ on the topic of circular building presents our project Woof & Skelle: Building Ensemble for Social Housing and Kindergarten in Bremen. The article is introduced with the following quote from DBZ Heftpartner Werner Sobek AG, Stuttgart: “Here, the circular use of renewable raw materials goes hand in hand with the appropriateness of the choice of materials for utilisation. In terms of design, the new buildings also aim for flexibility that can be adapted to requirements of the users.”

The CRCLR House in Berlin is also presented in this issue, for which ZRS Ingenieure planned the supporting structure of the entire building. The DBZ Heftpartner comments on this as follows: “In analyzing this project, it becomes clear that we need different planning approaches for circularity in construction. The high proportion of “manual labour” raises the question of the extent to which such projects can be scaled.”
