Laying of the foundation stone Kokoni One

On 7 September, the foundation stone was laid for the Kokoni One neighbourhood in Berlin-Pankow in the district of Französisch Buchholz. Together with neighbours, future residents and the investors, the celebration included music, food trucks, a bouncy castle and a painting station. In the first construction phase, 12 of the 84 residential units will be built, and the entire neighbourhood is scheduled for completion by the end of 2024. The first houses in prefabricated timber construction will be erected in October 2022. The energy supply of the quarter is almost self-sufficient via its own local heating network with geothermal energy and photovoltaic roofs.
